BMP Equity is a real estate investment firm that acquires, renovates and operates multi-family assets in US emerging markets. We target properties that are located near strong employment centers and areas of growth. We also acquire properties that can be repositioned with capital improvements and by implementing our efficient property management platform.
Terry Ward Terry Ward
Terry has been involved in real estate development since 1998 renovating properties in the Venice Beach area of Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, the Chicago adjacent suburbs of Illinois, Costa Rica and most recently the Lake Tahoe/Donner area. Terry is also the founder of two communication and presentation skills training organizations: ProComm Ltd. in 2000 and CommSkills Group in 2006. He is currently a managing partner at BMP Equity focusing on acquisitions. Terry holds a BS degree from UC Davis in Urban and Regional Planning. Architecture is his first love and he continues to utilize his creativity in all his real estate projects. Currently based in Marin County, Terry travels all over the country to identify and secure profitable real estate investments.
Cesare Checchin Ces Checchin
Ces (pronounced 'Chez') is an accomplished property manager and investor. Ces started his career in banking and finance, then founded Cucina Salo, a specialty food import company, and is now a managing partner at BMP Equity. Ces also has an MBA, and is a licensed California real estate broker. From early childhood he was unwittingly involved in many property renovations throughout northern Italy, where he grew up. Since then, he has successfully renovated and converted several properties on both continents. Ces is now making his mark at BMP Equity by identifying and managing quality property investments.
